
How to store milk
Use clean, food-grade quality breast milk storage bags or containers with tight-fitting lids.
Avoid plastic containing BPAs.
Type of milk

Freshly extracted
Out of refrigerator 77F or room temperature. No more than 4 hours.
In the refrigerator 40F. No more than 4 days.
Freezer shelf life is 6 to 12 months.
NOTE: Expressed milk from multiple sessions can be collected and poured into a single pitcher and subsequently divided into 3-4 ounce containers.

Thawed (previously frozen)
Out of refrigerator 77F or room temperature 1 to 2 hours.
In the refrigerator 40F. No more than 24 hours.
Freezer. NEVER refreeze breast milk that has already been thawed.

Milk left after feeding the baby (The baby didn´t drink all the milk contained in the feeding bottle)
It should be used within 2 hours after he stops drinking from a bottle.
